Dr. Cappie Baker has been a resident of Southern California for over 20 years. She graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee at the top of her dental class, and completed her specialty training at UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dual certification as a specialist in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry helps Dr. Baker offer a broad-based treatment that addresses the needs of all age groups.
Dr. Baker has been in private practice since 1987. She is a member of several professional organizations:
- American Dental Association.
- Harbor Dental Society.
- American Association of Orthodontists.
- Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Baker’s community involvement includes:

During her spare time, Dr. Baker enjoys snow skiing, health and fitness training, yoga, social media networking, cooking, and traveling.
